Educational Enhancement Fund
Endow-A-Chair Campaign

In the fall of 2001, Dr. Jerry Thacker, Superintendent of Logansport Community School Corporation, created a new committee.  It consisted of members of the school corporation as well as local citizens representing the arts.  Ken Fraza, McHale PAC Manager was appointed the chairman of the committee.

The purpose of this new group was to develop a local grant fund through the Cass County Community Foundation to help with funding for small educational enrichment projects.  Examples of such projects might include bringing in a guest speaker on a certain topic, sponsoring an Artist-in-Residence, or even enrichment events outside of the arts.

To raise monies for this new fund, Dr. Thacker proposed a fund raising campaign wherein anyone could purchase a brass nameplate to be affixed to the armrest of one of the new seats in McHale Performing Arts Center at Logansport High School.  The dollar amounts range from $50 all the way up to $2000 for corporate plates.  Currently the prices are as follows:

All of the brass plates are the same size (1" x 3") except for the corporate ones, which are 3" x 5".  The corporate plates will be mounted to the oak capped wall that separates the lower and upper seating sections in McHale, along the cross-aisle.
