In 1993 an architectural survey was done to assess what changes were needed to bring us up to Federal compliance. Most of these recommendations were acted upon during the summer of 1994. These included:
Removal of 21 theater seats and the leveling of an area for 8 wheelchairs and/or companion seating Leveling two sidewalks to the parking lot for wheelchairs Adding four marked spaces for vehicles including Accessible and Van Accessible signs Motorizing two doors into the theater complete with low voltage touch-pads and signs Expanded the lower lobby restroom for proper wheelchair turning radius and fixture heights. A Sennheiser infrared hearing assistance system was installed in July 1996 with 18 listening devices. Infrared receivers may be checked out at the Box Office.
